If you use the Zapmaps App, the payment terminal itself or scan the QR code 55p per unit is the charge. Roaming apps do take a cut.

Can you buy a second hand electric car
Just used it today, started instantly with my Octopus Electrverse id card, but also takes contactless cards. It's so new that the info screen doesn't give the cost, it's 64.8p per unit. It's 40kW max power, probably limited by the incoming supply.
